Gigi Hadid Wore $28 worth of Drugstore Makeup on a New York Fashion Week 2018 Red Carpet

Gigi Hadid has spent much of New York Fashion Week serving serious looks both on and off the runway. And while she has undoubtedly looked luxe AF at every turn, at least some of her looks have been surprisingly affordable. In fact, one of our favorites was created using exclusively drugstore makeup.

Makeup artist Erin Parsons took to Instagram on Wednesday to share the details behind Gigi's '90s inspired beauty from the September 9 Business of Fashion 500 Party, and we were shocked/thrilled/overwhelmed to find that the entire look cost less than $28.

Erin used exclusively Maybelline products to create the look, which is not only affordable, but also easy to DIY. To create Gigi's brown smoky eye, Erin used Maybelline Lasting Drama Gel Eyeliner in Glazed Toffee, then dusted her lids with the City Mini Palette in Brooklyn Nudes. To finish the eye she used Maybelline Volum' Express The Falsies Mascara, and then coated her lips with Super Stay Matte Ink in Loyalist for a neutral look.

Gigi's makeup isn't the only part of her fashion week beauty that happens to be affordable. Earlier this week, she revealed that she also relies almost exclusively on drugstore skincare products to get her runway-ready glow. "Since high school, I've always used CVS skincare," she told Teen Vogue backstage at the Prabal Gurung fashion show. "I love St. Ives Apricot Scrub, and the Neutrogena Grapefruit scrub — love both of those,"
