Gigi Hadid is currently expecting her first child with Zayn Malik, and much to fans' dismay, the model has been incredibly private about her pregnancy experience.

But the 25-year-old did recently open up on Instagram about how she has managed to hide her pregnancy bump for so long, given that the news only broke at the end of April and she was actually pregnant in January at fashion week.

Following an Instagram Live on Gigi's channel with activist Sophia Roe, the model was asked how she's managed to hide her baby bump. A fan wrote, "How do you not have a [pregnancy] tummy? I'm four months into my pregnancy and my tummy is huge. You look great though!"

Gigi replied, "This angle and the really baggy jumpsuit make for an optical illusion. From the side it's a different story haha. Wishing you the best."

While Gigi and Zayn haven't shared any pictures of their journey publicly, Gigi did confirm they were expecting a child together during an interview with Jimmy Fallon in May.

After Fallon congratulated her on the pregnancy, she said: "We're very excited and happy and grateful for everyone's well wishes and support. It's a nice silver lining to be able to be home and be together and really experience it day by day."

As for Zayn? According to an Us Weekly source, he "couldn’t be more thrilled", with the insider adding, "Zayn has always been so into Gigi and she’s always been such a big part of his life. Even when there were times that they weren’t a couple, the love was still very much there."

This is so lovely. Congratulations you two!
