Gigi Hadid Shares Photo of Sweet, Intimate Moment With Daughter Khai

Gigi Hadid keeps her private life private, but in her latest Instagram photo dump, she posted a snap of a sweet, intimate moment she shared with her daughter, Khai Hadid Malik.
In the photo, the model is seen holding the two-year-old’s tiny hand while apparently in the back seat of a car. Hadid wears a ripped gray sweater and a glossy brown manicure; Khai looks adorable in a white T-shirt with a graphic of a white daisy in front of a yellow backdrop, hot-pink pants with raw hems, and colorful Crocs.
“Some stuff I thought about posting the last few months but forgot lol srry ly part 2,” Hadid wrote in the caption.
Other photos in the post include a mirror selfie, in which the Guest in Residence founder is seen getting her hair and makeup done. She wears a fuzzy green robe with a geometric pattern, opaque white tights, and an orange lip.
Another slide shows a photo of Hadid’s birthday cake—yellow, and adorned with edible bees and colorful flowers, pink candles, and the words “Happy Birthday Mommy I Love You Khai.” Hadid celebrated her 28th birthday on April 23.
The model shares Khai with ex-boyfriend Zayn Malik. The the two dated on and off from 2015 to 2021. Earlier this year, Hadid opened up about being a young mom and parenting her child with Malik. Speaking with The Sunday Times, she said she and the singer make sure to keep “the importance of the child’s happiness at the forefront.”
“You have a long life alongside this person,” she explained, adding that she schedules her work commitments for “when Khai is with her dad.”
“That she can be with both parents makes me very happy,” she added.
