From ripping the runway as a supermodel for haute couture fashion houses to gracing the covers of prominent magazines, Gigi Hadid has made it clear that she's a fashion powerhouse. After taking her talents to television as the host of Netflix's Next in Fashion competition show, Gigi is now trying her hand at designing a line. The 27-year-old multi-hyphenate took to Instagram to announce the creation of her very own fashion brand, Guest in Residence.

On Thursday, August 4, Gigi gave viewers a behind-the-scenes look into the creation of her new knitwear line with sneak peeks of fabric swatches, tag mockups, and samples from the collection. "Been workin on something .... with love, @guestinresidence." she wrote.

She also tagged the brand's new Instagram account, which garnered over 8,000 new followers in 24 hours.

Gigi's friend and fellow fashion It-Girl Hailey Bieber commented, "So excited about this," while her sister Bella Hadid commented, "what we've all been waiting for."

This isn't Gigi's first foray into fashion design. A few months back, the supermodel launched a collection of swimsuits and loungewear with Frankies Bikinis. The feminine and flirty collection was inspired by Gigi's farming roots in her family's Pennsylvania home and featured pieces that cottagecore dreams are made of.

Earlier this year, Gigi confirmed that she would be hosting season 2 of Netflix's Next In Fashion alongside Tan France. She posted a selfie with Tan and captioned it, "Who would have thought when we met over Facetime 4 years ago (thanks @evachen212) that we’d be hosting NEXT IN FASHION TOGETHER! You read that right! The secret’s out. You better get ready, casting is now open at netflixreality.com/NIF @nextinfashion @netflix."

Gigi did not confirm when the collection is slated to hit stores, but with all of her experience in fashion, there's no telling what type of magic she'll be making with Guest In Residence.
