Gigi Hadid Serves a Monochrome Moment in Baby Blue Separates

Gigi Hadid is serving the monochromatic trend that has taken the streets by storm. After returning from Pennsylvania, where she spent the holidays with boyfriend Zayn Malik and their new babe, the supermodel strutted in a look cast in varying shades of light blue alongside her mother, Yolanda Hadid.

The runway vixen was photographed wearing a baby blue brushed-flannel coat by Copenhagen-based label Munthe over a frayed, fitted denim jacket and roomy jeans with cutouts. She accessorized the ensemble with white sneakers from the Reebok x Victoria Beckham collection, sunglasses with green lenses by Amavii, and, of course, a silk face mask by Night. Hadid also carried two bright blue cups, which perfectly complemented her ensemble.

Hadid’s blue look follows another monochromatic outfit she wore a few days ago. Stepping out in slouchy suede boots by Dear Frances, she wore a shearling-lined bucket hat by Louis Vuitton and an oversized wool coat by Mango, all in shades of brown.

The supermodel is in good company, as she joins a slew of stars who have showcased tonal dressing at its finest. Last December, Jennifer Lopez sported a dusty-pink silk top and matching trousers under a sleek blush-hued wool coat. Earlier this month, Angelina Jolie wore a sheath dress in a shade of eggshell, paired with a cream-colored handbag and titanium-white slides. And a few weeks ago, Hailey Bieber donned an oversized checkered coat in earth tones with brown shorts.

Clearly, the monochrome trend has made its way into 2021, and Hadid’s recent outings are further proof of that.
