Gigi Hadid Goes Back to Blonde After A Year of Dark Hair

Gigi Hadid is sporting blonde locks again.

After a year of experimenting with darker hair colors, including a fiery red at the Met Gala and several shades of auburn and brown, the supermodel was spotted with a bright blonde 'do in NYC yesterday. In the pics, which you can see here, the star's wavy hair falls to her midsection, with the crown of her head covered by a black beanie.

The model's outfit included a short-sleeved black turtleneck worn under a shiny red vinyl jumpsuit, which was unzipped and cinched with drawstrings at the waist. She finished the look with black combat boots and a black face mask.

The new hair reveal comes a month after news broke that Hadid had broken up with her longtime (on and off) boyfriend Zayn Malik. The couple announced their split amid an accusation from the supermodel's mother, Yolanda Hadid, that she and the musician had a physical altercation. Malik has since denied the accusation on social media.

Hadid and Malik share a one-year-old daughter together, Khai, whom they welcomed in September 2020.

"They are not together right now. They are both good parents though," a friend of the Hadid family told People at the time. "They co-parent. Yolanda is of course very protective of Gigi. She wants the best for her daughter and grandchild."

"Gigi is solely focused on the best for Khai. She asks for privacy during this time," the supermodel's rep told the outlet.
