If the bob is the haircut of the moment, then flippy bobs are the style of the moment. Lately, it seems as though everyone is cutting their hair into a bob and styling it with retro flipped ends. In the last few weeks alone, everyone from Jennifer Lopez to America Ferrera, Ayo Edebiri, Emma Stone, and more have all worn the vintage-inspired look. In fact, so many people tried it out at the Golden Globes it became the hair trend of award season. The latest person to test drive the look? Gigi Hadid.

On March 14, Hadid posted a handful of selfies showing off her latest makeup look and accompanying hairstyle. In addition to her full face of Maybelline products (she's been a longtime face of the brand) her brand-new bob was front and center in the selfies.

Gigi parted her hair a deep side part, showing off her darker roots and golden blonde ends. Then, she styled the right side of her hair over her face, letting it graze her eyes and cheeks as it traveled down to just above shoulder length.

Not as curled or dramatic as some of the more classic iterations of the style, Gigi wore a minimalistic take on the flippy bob. Instead of having a full-on curl at the ends of her bob, this flip just subtly angled her hair upwards. This subtle flick added volume, bounce, and movement to her otherwise sleek look.

Just a week ago, Gigi Hadid debuted her new shorter look. In a video showing how celebrity hairstylist Chris McMillian chopped off her locks, we saw her new shoulder-length hair for the first time. Since then, she's worn it straight, in beachy waves, and now with a malt shop flip. The short cut is a major change from the long, blonde waves she's had for most of her modeling career.

Gigi paired her new style with a glowy “no-makeup makeup look.” Her skin was dewy and natural, and she added an ultra-soft smoky eye paired with wispy dark lashes. The finishing touch? A dark pink glossy lip and the same Frankies Bikinis sweater her sister wore in a set of viral photos this winter.
