Gigi Hadid Gave Fans A Rare Glimpse Into What She Feeds Her 2-Year-Old

Supermodel Gigi Hadid spent a large portion of her childhood on television while her mother Yolanda starred in The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. But when it comes to parenting her own daughter, Khai, she's chosen to keep her kid out of the spotlight.

Hadid’s child with Zayn Malik is turning three next month and has been largely hidden from both of their social media accounts. But the model posted a series of photos on her Instagram this week that offers a glimpse of what her daughter has been eating this summer.

The post treats us to plenty of the snacks Hadid serves her daughter. In one photo, Khai is pictured holding a pint of blueberries in a field, which appears to be part of a berry-picking excursion. The fresh fruit makes multiple appearances in the photo carousel, including on a poolside lunch tray. Khai’s meal also contained a cucumber sandwich, hummus, baby carrots, and pita chips.

Hadid and her two-year-old have also treated themselves to some sweet treats. One image reveals an indulgent breakfast of pancakes—one with bacon slices in the batter and another topped with plenty of mini M&M’s.

And of course, no summer is complete without ice cream. The last photo in Hadid’s series features the pair snacking on strawberry ice cream bars. It’s clear that their love language definitely involves food.

Instagram users flooded the comments section to share their support. Kylie Jenner said, “the life 🫶🏻” Another user chimed in to ask: “How do I get on Khai’s meal plan?”

Khai’s diet is a clear departure from what Hadid grew up eating while guest starring on The Real Housewives. The model’s mother, Yolanda Hadid, even inspired the popular “almond mom” trend. This derogatory term is used to describe mothers who impose intense restrictive diets on their children.

Yolanda’s almond mom behavior allegedly applies to her granddaughter as well. In 2021, it was reported that Malik got into an altercation with Yolanda over her treatment of Khai. A police report revealed that Malik allegedly told Yolanda to “stay away from [my] f***ing daughter.”

However, with this snapshot of Khai’s summer meals, it’s safe to say that Gigi is not following in her mother’s footsteps.
