Gigi Hadid's inimitable fashion sense has returned to the streets of New York City.

On Wednesday, the supermodel was spotted in the New York City neighborhood of SoHo, wearing an outfit that blended the best of two very different styles.

She channeled the skater grunge look in a pair of ripped wide-leg jeans from Danielle Guizio and classic black Chuck Taylor high tops from Converse. She then went in a completely different route for her top, opting for a preppy cropped sweater vest. The knit piece featured different multi-colored patterns, including a black-and-white checker print, one in pink and red, and baby-blue and tan stripes.

The ensemble's accessories were just as fun and unexpected. In addition to toting around a creamy pocket pouch from Loro Piana, Hadid wore a brown bucket hat with a gray rim, black oval-shaped sunglasses, a chunky gold choker necklace, and a hot-pink charm bracelet.

The supermodel is known for being unafraid to make unconventional styling choices for her off-duty wardrobe.

For instance, back in May, Hadid was spotted wearing a one-piece toile de jouy swimsuit from her collaboration with Frankies Bikinis as a party top. She paired the classic blue-and-white bathing suit with a pair of low-slung cream trousers that sat low on her hips, giving the illusion of hip cutouts, as well as a cropped collared top, kitten-heel slingback pumps from By Far, a blue Louis Vuitton clutch, and plenty of gold jewelry.
