Summer is here and Gigi Hadid is soaking in the sun with her baby girl Khai. The celeb took to Instagram showing off her and her daughter’s pool day in matching green bathing suits. The three image carousel features shots of the mother daughter duo and the rare solo shot of baby Khai basking in the sun on a pink striped towel. This post is a rare look into the model’s new life as a mom as she has made the decision to keep baby Khai out of the limelight.
Her sister Bella told Vogue earlier this year about Gigi's decision to keep Khai's face off of social media. “I think she wants to be real online, but until her child wants to be in the spotlight and can make the decision herself, she doesn't want to put her in that position,” Bella said.
The model made the decision to keep Khai’s face out of the spotlight until she is old enough to make that decision for herself. She also spoke with Vogue saying that, “I have friends who are public figures and that's how they’ve gone about it [not sharing full photographs of their kids], and I see their kids really blossom in a different way.”
Gigi has decided to take a play out of friends Ryan Reynolds and Blake Lively’s parenting book after speaking with Lively during her pregnancy. The former Gossip Girl star told the model, “I told her you have to do what works for you.”
