Rihanna recently announced that she is expecting a baby with her partner, A$AP Rocky, sharing photos of her baby bump on Instagram. Fans celebrated, and many friends commented—but the comments from model Gigi Hadid set off a rumor that the pop icon and beauty mogul is expecting twins.
In her original comment, Hadid wrote “three angels” along with a few emojis of hearts and happy faces. The carousel she commented on included a few pictures of Rihanna alone with her bump, so readers started guessing that Rihanna was one and the other two were inside of her. Hadid caught wind of the storm brewing over her comments and clarified underneath.
“I just caught word of this commotion,” she wrote. “I meant rih/rocky/baby lol.”

Though they were photographed earlier in the week in images that revealed her baby bump, the Fenty beauty founder first shared her pregnancy announcement on Wednesday, posting photos of herself with A$AP and writing, “how the gang pulled up to black history month.”
In the pictures, Rihanna is wearing a vivid pink jacket partially open to show her torso, which was adorned in gold chains and jewels.
“Having a baby is something she was never focused on, but being with Rocky opened her up to the idea. She couldn't be happier and is so excited to be a mom,” a source told People on Monday after the first pics started circulating.
They added, “She's loving all the changes to her body during pregnancy and has always celebrated pregnant women in her runway shows for Fenty.”
Another source told People, “From the very beginning, he's doted on her. He's over-the-top romantic and sends her roomfuls of flowers all the time."
