Gigi Hadid and Bella Hadid Went to an Escape Room to Celebrate Gigi’s 24th Birthday

Gigi Hadid turned 24 on April 23, and she rang in the momentous occasion with a huge party for all her best friends, including Taylor Swift and the “squad.” But the fun didn’t stop there! The next day, Gigi and her sister, Bella, continued to celebrate Gigi with an afternoon event at an escape room in New York City.

According to Just Jared Jr., the Hadid sisters visited the escape room on Tuesday, April 23, with Gigi wearing a light blue Rolling Stones hoodie, jeans, boots, and white retro sunglasses, and Bella in sneakers, socks, and an oversize polo-shirt dress. According to Gigi’s Instagram Stories, the escape room was a surprise. “Bella is taking me somewhere,” she wrote over a video of the duo in a car. Bella also posted about their trip to the room, including a video of Gigi standing inside, surrounded by giant gold balloons spelling her name.

Earlier in the day, Bella posted a video of an array of little toys — including a tiny plastic Barbie and a mini Etch-a-Sketch — that appeared to be gifts for her sister. “I guess she already found her tiny harmonica,” Bella wrote, and sure enough, there was Gigi, playing a tune on a teeny harmonica. When you’re both major supermodels, you've probably got all the fancy shoes and bags you could ever dream of, which makes a silly gift like a harmonica a fun choice.

Bella also marked Gigi’s birthday with an Instagram carousel of photos of them together, writing, “Built in best friend” about her sister. Aww! We love supportive bestie sisters like the Hadids.

We’re pretty sure the sisters escaped the room and aren’t currently locked inside, because Gigi has been posting Insta Stories since — including tons of snaps and videos of the gorgeous bouquets she received for her birthday from clothing designers and fellow celebs, including Lady Gaga!

It looks like Gigi had an incredible 24th birthday, but we’ve got one question: How is she going to top it for her 25th? She might need more tiny harmonicas.
