Just when you think you’ve seen all the Hadids, another one strikes. Lou & Grey, LOFT’s laid back, weekend-ready line of slouchy knits, linen tees, and silky dresses, has tapped Alana Hadid to be their new face (or muse, as they call it). The older half-sister to Gigi, Bella, and Anwar, Alana’s an LA-based personal shopper and stylist who just happened to charm the pants off the Lou & Grey team when they opened their latest Southern California store.

She likes fashion and her last name is Hadid, so why didn’t she go after modeling sooner? “Maybe I should have,” Alana tells Yahoo Style. “Hadids seem to do well!” That might be the understatement of the century given the number of covers, campaigns, and runways Gigi and Bella have racked up in the past year alone. “It’s a lot of work,” she adds. “Every time I do it I have a newfound respect for my sisters.”

Alana’s still riding high after Gigi’s Victoria’s Secret debut earlier this week. “I just let her know how proud I was of her, that she has always been an angel to me, but I was glad that VS was finally making it official,” she said of her sister’s turn on the VS runway. “This was a huge dream of hers, and seeing any of my siblings achieve lifelong dreams is a blessing. She has worked hard and look what hard work is getting her.”

Working hard seems to come easy to the Hadids, who rose to fame thanks to Yolanda Foster’s role on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills (she was married to Alana’s dad, Mohamed Hadid, after Alana’s mom). They could just hang out in their Malibu mansions and yet each has gone after their career with serious ambition. “We are exactly who we always were, just with a lot more people paying attention,” Alana says. “I don’t feel differently, and I don’t think my family does either. We are all working at things we were working for before and proud of each other just like we were. To us, everyone in the family has always been a big deal. We have celebrated each other’s achievements as though it was on the cover of magazines. It’s fun to see everyone do well, but just with way more Instagram likes.”

Lucky for Alana, she says Lou & Grey’s holiday collection fit right into her own wardrobe. "It’s comfortable yet fashionable and unafraid to play with fabric or silhouette; which kind of describes my own sense of style,” she tells Yahoo Style. “I like to mix high and low—wearing something that is $500 with a $5 bandana is not only interesting, but a lot easier on my credit card.”

As for the inevitable question—When will they all pose for a campaign together?—Alana says, “Never say never. If it was something really cool, I think we would consider it.”
