Gigantic Newfoundland Dog Only Wants to Meet Humans at the Dog Park
Trips to the dog park can be a fun way for canines to socialize and exercise but @emmy_the_newf has another idea. She's there for the people!
In an August 14 TikTok video, this Newfoundland's owner posted a hilarious video to her TikTok account. The big dog couldn't care less about the other pups who were there to sniff or play. She just wanted to be pet by the other dog owners who were there!

LMAO! We can't get enough of the way this social dog asks for attention from people she doesn't even know. Clearly, this isn't the first time this has happened though! No one is thinking twice about being approached by this huge pup, and her owner had enough warning to catch several videos of her visits. She's just a social butterfly!
"She said, 'Dog park? I think you mean petting spa," commenter @yourcoffeemom said. No kidding! We could even take this remark to the next level by converting 'spa' to 'spaw'--not that Emmy is concerned! She's far too busy looking for the next person to give her a good scratch.
Newfoundlands are known to be social dogs with people they know and with those they don't, so it's no surprise to see Emmy making as many friends as possible. In fact, these large dogs have been known as a great 'nanny dog' for families, so it's not an exaggeration to call them friendly!
Whether Emmy is getting her socialization in from humans or from other pups, it certainly seems like she enjoys her trips to the dog park. And it seems like the people she meets enjoy it, too!

How sweet! We'd be over the moon to visit with this gigantic dog at the dog park. She's so polite and gentle with her new friends--there's not much more one could ask for!
