Giant Pack of Stray Huskies Were Rescued in Washington After Being Alone for a Month

Residents reported the huskies after they were seen on home surveillance cameras.

In Tacoma, Washington, a heartwarming rescue mission recently took place as 14 husky dogs were saved after being captured on home video cameras roaming the streets for over a month. Residents had seen the giant pack of dogs on home surveillance cameras and contacted animal control, who captured the dogs and brought them to the Humane Society for medical care and food.

Watch the following video posted by Tacoma and Pierce county Humane Society to see these absolutely gorgeous dogs.

On the shelter's Facebook page, Gabie comments, "It is almost like a sled dog pack. Assuming owner is not known. Thank you all the staff and volunteers do to help animals in need. I hope we can get community support to help you help them." @Charles adds, "Thank you for rescuing those beautiful Huskies, shameful that somebody dumped them in the woods like that nor caring what happened to them, but amazing they were able to survive on their own as a pack for over a Month, smart dogs, I'm sure it will take some time for them to fully trust Humans again, but I hope they as well as all the other dogs in your shelter find a happy home soon."

The dogs range in ages from five months to five years, and even though they were scared and nervous they have shown signs of friendliness towards the staff.
