Giant Caucasian Ovcharka Thinks He’s a Lap Dog and Everyone's Here for It

Just like small dogs sometimes tend to have the Napoleon complex, where they're unaware of their size and usually have a big bark and no bite—like some Chihuahas—some big dogs are the opposite, also unaware of their size, and think they're tiny lap dogs, just like Yogi, a giant Caucasian Ovcharka.

Yes, Yogi Bear, as his owner calls him in this video posted on November 18, thinks he really isn't that big, and it's hilarious! Let's see for yourself!

Look at how HUGE he is!

The Caucasian Ovcharka is apparently known for its protective instincts. However, despite their imposing size, these dogs are often known to be gentle and affectionate with their families.

I have no doubt about that.

Look at how gently he sits down on the sofa, making sure not to accidentally crush anyone.

But once squeezed onto the sofa, he complains that there isn't much room for him!

I mean, duh!

It's not uncommon for large breeds to believe they are lap dogs, as they may have a strong desire for close physical contact and affection from their owners.

He really is a big teddy bear.

However, it's essential to remember that large breeds like the Caucasian Ovcharka require proper training from a young age to ensure they grow up to be well-behaved and manageable. Due to their protective nature, early socialization is crucial to help them distinguish between normal and threatening situations.

Additionally, given their size and strength, it's important to handle them with care and ensure that interactions with children or smaller animals are supervised.
