This GIANT Breakfast Sandwich Serves 20 People, So Call All Your Friends

From Delish

Oh, you thought we were done scoping out every giant dish in New York City? Sorry to disappoint, but the hunt is far from over. In fact, we're delivering TWO monstrous menu items in one story—ya know, just to keep the momentum going.

LAVO in New York City is many things, one being a super popular nightclub that always has a line down 58th street. But when it's not hosting drunk twenty-somethings in its downstairs lounge, LAVO is also a must-go Italian restaurant with a pretty awesome brunch menu. New to the brunch menu are two items, the "Big Effing Breakfast Sandwich" and the "Bloody Brilliant."

The sandwich costs $350 and feeds up to 20 people. It boasts three pounds of house-made focaccia bread, 36 eggs, 8 pounds of Italian sausage, and a whole pound of cheese. It's served with beefsteak tomatoes, cherry pepper aioli, and topped with skewers of prosciutto, fresh mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes and olives. In total, in can range anywhere between 15 to 20 pounds—that's the size of a small human!

The Bloody Brilliant, which is mostly a seafood tower served in a giant oyster shell, costs $1,150 and is filled to the brim with king crab legs, lobster tails, jumbo shrimp, oysters, octopus, crispy pancetta, fried chicken skewers, fresh mozzarella balls, cherry tomatoes, and more. Not to mention, it's served with a bottle of vodka and individual glasses of Bloody Marys.

If you're even considering taking down these dishes, you'll want to call in backup from every friend you have. LAVO is open for brunch on Saturdays and Sundays, and both items need to be ordered at least 24 hours in advance...for obvious reasons.
