This weekend, Jessica Chastain married her boyfriend of five years, Gian Luca Passi de Preposulo. Here's what you need to know about Chastain's Italian husband.

1. He's nobility.

The Passi de Preposulo family dates back to the year 973, People reports. And, although the aristocracy is no longer recognized by the Italian government, the Passi de Preposulo family still use their count and countess titles. That means, Chastain could potentially start referring to herself as a countess, if she's into that kind of thing.

2. He has a background in fashion.

Passi de Preposulo, who currently works for French fashion brand Moncler, got his start as the director of public relations at Armani. According to a 2009 Vanity Fair profile, he considers Roberta Armani his mentor.

3. He has lots of famous friends.

As Bustle reports, Passi de Preposulo counts several A-listers as his friends, including Leonardo DiCaprio, George Clooney, and Julia Roberts. So, even though he's not a member of the Hollywood elite himself, he's definitely comfortable in Chastain's world.

4. Chastain gushes about him.

Shortly after they made their public debut as a couple in 2013, she gushed about her love to Mario Lopez on the Oscars red carpet.
