Ghostbusters 4 Trailer Teased in Cryptic Tweet

There’s something strange, and it’s coming to your neighbourhood very soon. That’s according to the official X account of Ghostbusters, which posted a cryptic tweet alluding to the fate of the next film.

"Something strange is coming soon,” teases the tweet under a short video of an icy moon that spins around to become the iconic Ghostbusters logo. We also hear a wolf howling in the background which, together with the presence of a full moon, suggests we’re about to see some serious werewolf activity in the sequel.

“Excited to see what strange things are coming from HQ!” the account writes in a follow-up post, which set fans theories into overdrive. One X user writes: “I'm calling it, the villain is Fenrir and the story revolves around him ushering in the apocalypse by freezing over the world.”

Given the icicles emanating from the moon, the werewolf howl, and the temptation to revive a legacy character in Fenrir (he appeared in 1997 animated series Extreme Ghostbusters), that seems right on the money.

With Fenrir potentially preparing to chow down on the Ghostbusters, Jaws actor Richard Dreyfuss has eviscerated the Jaws play.

Expect a Ghostbusters 4 trailer to drop imminently.
