Despite her aristocratic name, Princess Xenia Gabriela Florence Sophie Iris of Saxony is not your typical princess. And among other things, the 37-year-old, whose great-great-great-grandfather was Frederick Augustus III, the last king of Saxony, became the first member of the royalty to appear on the cover of Playboy Germany this week.

With her nude photos, Xenia told the publication that she wanted to show that "every woman is beautiful the way she is" and that you shouldn't judge anyone for their appearance. "You don’t have to conform to trends or have surgery on your body just to please someone," she said in the interview accompanying the sexy photoshoot. "I have stretch marks and I'm proud to show them."

Before bearing all for Playboy, Xenia has appeared in a number of reality TV shows, such as the BBC series Undercover Princesses and currently, B:Real—Real Celebrities, Real Life. However, with her reality star fame came scrutiny of her body.

"In some reality TV shows, I was the only one who didn’t have anything done to her body," she explained. "And then it happened that the other women, some of whom had had a lot of surgery, said something like that I wasn't any competition for them because I didn't have any curves and wasn't feminine. It was horrible. I almost gave in to the pressure and had my body modified."

When Xenia was 10, she was diagnosed with a bone tumor on her skull, which she had removed six years later. However, these days, she says she finally feels comfortable in her own skin.

"I like my body best when it works and I'm pain-free," she added. "I've never determined how well I like myself based on my appearance."
