Georgia Shelter Worker Lists Cats Like Cars and Gets Amazing Surprise

The volunteers who dedicate their time and effort to managing the social media accounts of animal shelters have a really hard job. Capturing the attention of potential adopters for their lovable feline friends in a vast sea of internet content is no easy feat.

Between endless memes, viral videos, and non-stop Kardashian Kontent it's hard to get eyes on shelter cats! That's why the idea that @Gizmos_best_life came up with is purrfectly brilliant.

Kayla, who runs the social media account for Pippi's Place Pet Rescue in the greater Atlanta area, came up with the brilliant idea to showcase adoptable cats like they are cars and named it CATVANA, a riff on the popular car buying website 'Carvana.' Listing cats with titles like 'Purrcedes" and 'Furrari" is just so clever and hilarious!

Kayla was inspired by so many people who loved this idea, they decided to buy the domain name to continue advertising their adoptable cats in this clever way. The only issue is, when Kayla went to check availability, the name was all ready taken. Watch the following video for the sweet explanation:

The post went crazy viral on Reddit, with comments like: "Omfg this is the most adorable thing I've ever seen in my life I love it. I want an actual shelter site like this." Someone else added, "You should absolutely register catvana if it’s available. Immediately everyone recognizes your brand and knows what you do."

The fact that some kind soul out there actually registered the name for the cat shelter is beyond wonderful. Or as TikTok user @Jacks said, "Omg THIS is the best of the internet. I hope the human that did this gets everything they want in life. Stay awesome."

If you are interested in adopting your own MiniPooper from Catvana, you can find information about the shelter here.
