  • Prince George and Princess Charlotte are set to be in the bridal party of one of Prince William's close friends.

  • According to royal commentator Roya Nikkhah, George and Charlotte will serve as bridal attendants at Thomas van Straubenzee's upcoming wedding.

  • Royal fans will remember that, in 2018, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry attended Charlie van Straubenzee's wedding to Daisy Jenks. Charlies is Thomas's younger brother.

Prince George and Princess Charlotte are basically professionals when it comes to serving as bridal attendants.

Of course, George was a page boy and Charlotte was a flower girl at Prince Harry's wedding to the Duchess of Sussex in May 2018. And now, according to royal correspondent Roya Nikkhah in The Sunday Times, George and Charlotte have been enlisted for an upcoming wedding.

Per Nikkhah, Thomas van Straubenzee, who is a "lifelong friend of the Duke of Cambridge and godfather to Princess Charlotte," is getting married to the assistant head principal of the school Thomas's in Clapham. George attends the Battersea branch of Thomas's, and sister Charlotte is set to join him there in September 2019.

Van Straubenzee is set to marry Lucy Lanigan-O'Keeffe, who apparently "teaches outdoor learning and mindfulness at the Battersea branch." Thomas is the older brother of Charlie van Straubenzee, who got married in August 2018 to Daisy Jenk. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were both in attendance at Charlie's wedding.

While Charlie appears to be closer to Harry, Thomas is apparently very good friends with William. Per Nikkhah, William "will be an usher and may also make a speech" at Thomas's wedding. But it's already likely that Princess Charlotte and Prince George will steal the show, just like they always do.
