Genevieve Gorder is on the mend.

The interior designer and former Trading Spaces host posted a video to Instagram in order to update her followers on her battle with COVID-19. She previously revealed she had contracted the virus, which is still circulating in high numbers across the world thanks, in part, to the highly contagious delta variant, earlier this week.

The host of Netflix’s series Stay Here, who received two doses of the Pfizer vaccine, explained, “I wanted to just report and tell you how I feel because I don't think we have a lot of content from double vaccinated people who've gone through this.”

Gorder shared that she was currently on day six of COVID-19, and that she was still battling a low-grade fever and upper respiratory issues. However, she shared that she is “so grateful” to be vaccinated, despite her health battle.

“I know as a person who's had asthma since I was a little girl — and two autoimmunes as an adult — I would be on that hospital table,” she said. “I would be on the ventilator. I would be the one you were praying about."

So far, more than 600,000 people have died in the United States from COVID-19, most of whom were unvaccinated.

In the caption of the post, she implored her followers to get vaccinated as well, writing, “I think it’s important to share our journeys through this virus. It’s scary and so real. Pushing for herd immunity and awareness…get vacc’d! Taking care of each other is a mission for all.”

Earlier this week, she took to Instagram to share a snapshot of her resting up in bed, writing, “I can’t begin to imagine what this would feel like unvaccinated and for that I’m grateful. To all of you who are not vaccinating…please, I’m begging you to go get vaccinated today, this would be unbearable without it. Mask up everyone.”

Gorder’s posts come weeks after Catt Sadler shared that she tested positive for COVID-19 despite being fully vaccinated. Sadler said she was caring for her sick 20-year-old son, who chose not to take the vaccine, when she was infected with the virus.

"Vaccines save lives,” Sadler explained during a recent appearance on The View. “That is the point of the vaccine... Yes, you can still get sick, but you are not going to die if you are vaccinated. That's it, full stop."
