After six seasons on a hit TV show, some would choose to sit back and enjoy their cash money. Genevieve Gorder, who starred on the long-running HGTV show Dear Genevieve, has only gotten busier since the show went off the air.

The interior designer and television host’s lengthy resume includes stints on TLC and HGTV shows, including HGTV Design Star, HGTV White House Christmas, and Genevieve’s Renovation. She’s plenty active off-screen, too. Gorder has designed several home lifestyle collections, including one for Crate & Barrel that launched this April. She’s also schooling the Instagram game, partnering with brands like Allswell Home and FabFitFun on sponsored posts.

All of these endeavors have wracked up a net worth of around $5 million, some websites estimate. While this number isn’t confirmed, we crunched some numbers, and it does seem plausible. Back in 2009 (when Dear Genevieve first aired), reality producer Terence Michael told E! News that home reality stars can make between $25,000 and $40,000 an episode; for six seasons, that could net Gorder $2 to $3 million.

From there, tack on her appearances hosting and designing for other shows, her retail lines, and her social media posts, and you can see how those multiple sources of income add up. At $5,000 a pop, sponsored Instagram posts alone could bring in around $100,000 per year, based on her average posting frequency. This estimated net worth would put her in the same camp as fellow HGTV stars Christina and Tarek El Moussa and Nicole Curtis.

With Trading Spaces officially back on the air, and a newly added engagement ring on her left hand, Gorder doesn't seem to be slowing down any time soon.
