Garth Brooks Brings Kelly Clarkson to Tears with "Beautiful" Story about Trisha Yearwood

It's not every day you see Kelly Clarkson cry on national television, and this may be the first and last time we'll see Clarkson AND Garth Brooks tear up simultaneously. You may assume the two music industry icons were discussing the death of a fellow celebrity, a sad event in the news, or something along those lines but, in fact, they were discussing the queen Trisha Yearwood on Clarkson's daytime talk show, The Kelly Clarkson Show. Don't judge because after hearing Garth gush about his wife of over 18 years, you too might notice your eyes welling up. Kelly posted the clip to her Instagram writing, "'I found her in the past life, I'll find her in the next.'🥹."

In the clip Garth says, "The day I take my last breath on this planet, I’d love for my three girls to be around me. I would love for my queen to be around me, but as far as Ms. Yearwood, I don’t know. You know I’ve said this before, I found her in the past life. I’ll find her in the next… She makes it fun ya know."

"I’m going to cry at lunch, Garth... It’s such a beautiful love between the two of you. And you are tearing up and you’re making me tear up. My makeup artist is gonna kill me,” Clarkson responded.

Fans were equally touched by Garth's words. "That is one of the most beautiful things I’ve ever heard a celebrity say out loud and I believe it with all my heart. God bless them. ❤️" and "Goals. I want that kind of love," they commented. "BRB crying" and "Such a sincere man with a huge heart for life and his wife. 💙" others chimed in.

Fans of Garth and Trisha have known about their special bond for years, but hearing Garth express his love never gets old. Even after all these years, it's clear they're still very much in love. So, really who can blame Kelly for tearing up, we did too!
