Garth Brooks is a busy man. Not only is he making headlines for his new honkytonk opening soon in Nashville, but he also managed to find time to induct Jon Pardi into the Grand Old Opry on the same day he announced a brand new album coming out.

The new album—his 14th studio album—is called Time Traveler. "There are a lot of different eras on this album, thus the name," Brooks said in a press release. "Country music's core is sincerity; after that you can dress it up a thousand different ways. I am so lucky to live under the flag of country music."

The album is part of a limited series box set that does seem to travel through time via Brooks' catalog. It includes his three most recent studio albums, 2014’s Man Against Machine, 2016's Gunslinger, and Fun, which came out in 2020. It also includes the three-disc Triple Live concert set.

Time Traveler is coming out on November 7, which could make it a perfect gift for a Garth Brooks fan. However, if you want to play Santa, there’s a tiny catch. The album will first be only available in one store. Specifically, as part of a box set available exclusively at Bass Pro Shop.  Perhaps it's time to swing through Memphis to stay at the Bass Pro Shop hotel and pick up the album.

The timing not only works for Christmas shopping, but also to get us all ready for a special “dive bar” concert Brooks is playing on November 24 to mark the opening of his new bar, the aptly named Friends in Low Places Bar & Honky-Tonk.
