Garden Club of Kent plant sale set Friday to Sunday

The Garden Club of Kent's annual plant sale will be this weekend at the Ode to Joy Center, 480 Ravenna Road in Streetsboro.

The sale will run 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday and Saturday; and 8 a.m. to noon Sunday.

Payment is by cash or check only. Proceeds from the sale will benefit the garden club's scholarship program for horticultural students.

Available items will include tomato varieties, thriving perennials and hundreds of vegetables, herbs and annuals donated by garden club members from their own gardens.
