Ganni Launches “Home Is Where the Heart Is” Challenge for Creators Working From Home

As a brand, Ganni has always excelled at resonating and tapping into artists and creators worldwide. From working with creative Ana Kraš to create its runway show sets to hosting painter Chloe Wise's birthday party last December, over the years Ganni has built an engaging community and, in light of the coronavirus pandemic, the Copenhagen-based brand is encouraging their followers and customers to create with them by utilizing the hashtag #GanniWFH.

Everyone reacts to stress and crisis differently and however you choose to react is OK. For those that find relief through creating and flexing their creativity, Ganni is providing that outlet for them. As part of its “Home Is Where the Heart Is” challenge, Ganni is asking those that have the privilege of being at home (and are inspired to express themselves) to submit their work to the brand. The ask is simple: create one or two original images or artworks (still life, portrait, illustration, collage… the world is your oyster!) connected to the theme of “home is where the heart is.”

Submissions will be judged by a panel led by Ganni's creative director, Ditte Reffstrup. The winner's work will be showcased in Ganni's pop-up exhibition in August. On top of that, the winner will receive a 1500€ gift card. The runner ups will be awarded a 500€ gift card. Works must be unpublished original artwork and should be submitted before April 3 — so start creating now!
