Games, demonstrations, bike safety, ice cream and popcorn at Galion Spring Safety Day

Spring Safety Day will be held 1-4 p.m. June 1 at Ark Church, 200 Gelsanliter Road, Galion. The event is a comprehensive community safety and wellness day for Crawford and surrounding counties sponsored by the First Lutheran Church Outreach Team, fire, police and health departments, and other churches and nonprofit organizations.

Several events and activities planned include a bicycle safety course and helmet distribution, car seat education, fire safety demonstrations, bicycle giveaways for school-aged kids, child ID, face painting, a bouncy house and games, senior citizen education and health care information and demonstrations.

There will be free ice cream, popcorn and refreshments.
