Michael Jordan's 1992 Olympic "Dream Team" No. 9 jersey has sold for $3,030,000 million USD at Goldin Auctions.

The apparel is a game-used, photo-matched and inscribed white jersey from Team USA's semifinal round against Lithuania on August 6, 1992, when MJ scored a total of 21 points with four assists and three rebounds. Measuring at size 46 from Champion, the jersey is also signed by Jordan on the upper left chest area with a black marker.

The lot is part of the "Dream Team Collection" gathered by Karl Malone, who was also a member of Team USA for the 1992 Olympics, and joins game-used jerseys and shoes from the likes of Magic Johnson, Larry Bird, Charles Barkley, John Stockton, Scottie Pippen, David Robinson and Malone himself. "Working with Karl Malone and bringing this extraordinary Dream Team Collection to auction has been a major highlight of my career in collectibles," Ken Goldin shared in a statement. "And then knowing that Netflix viewers would get to see behind the scenes of the deal made it an even more thrilling experience for our auction company and the broader Goldin community."
