"Game of Thrones" Stars Sophie Turner and Kit Harington Reunited House Stark at Emmys 2019

Game of Thrones may be over, but it's always in our hearts — and we're not the only ones. Cast members Sophie Turner and Kit Harrington, formerly known as Sansa Stark and Jon Snow, were thrilled to see one another at the 2019 Emmy Awards, and their reunion totally warmed our hearts. You know what they say: You can take the actors out of Westeros, but you can never take the Westeros out of the actors. OK, nobody says that, but after seeing this video, we're convinced it's true.

A fan account captured a short and sweet video of the two stars meeting up at the awards ceremony. The two embrace for a long time, then separate as Sophie places her hands on either side of Kit's face and gushes over him for a minute, saying "You're so handsome!" Clearly, these two have missed each other, and their friendship and love for one another is evident in the short clip. Their characters Jon and Sansa were raised as half-siblings, and then as cousins, so their roots run deep — and Kit and Sophie's do too. Both actors have moved on to other projects; Sophie starred in Dark Phoenix, while Kit is currently filming a movie called Eternals, which is set to premiere in 2020.

Fans were equally as thrilled about the reunion as the stars were. "They're meeting like long lost brother and sister," tweeted one. "Kit Harrington and Sophie Turner hugging eachother [sic] makes me strangely emotional," added another. "KIT AND SOPHIE REUNITED THEY LOOK SO HAPPY PLEASEE THE WAY THEY JUST HOLD EACH OTHER ... IM CRYING," wrote another fan, while another thought their reunion was better than the final season of the show. "That hug between Sophie Turner and Kit Harrington just now gave me more emotion than the season finale of Game of Thrones #emmys," they wrote.

While we may have said goodbye to Sansa and Jon, we've got many more sweet GoT cast reunions like this to look forward to in the future.
