‘Game of Thrones’ Named Outstanding Drama Series at the 2018 Emmy Awards

What do you get when you combine The Handmaid’s Tale, This Is Us, Stranger Things and Game of Thrones? A neck-and-neck race.

At tonight’s 70th annual Emmy Awards ceremony, Game of Thrones took home the statuette for Outstanding Drama Series.

The hit HBO series was up against all our favorites, including The Handmaid’s Tale (Hulu), This Is Us (NBC), The Crown (Netflix), The Americans (FX), Stranger Things (Netflix) and Westworld (HBO).

Well deserved, indeed.
