GALLERY: GCAO pets looking for homes

May 20—MOSES LAKE — Grant County Animal Outreach is over capacity and asking for the community to consider adoption or fostering to help out. The shelter has a capacity of 47 dogs, but many animals are paired up in kennels where possible to accommodate the roughly 150 animals they're currently caring for.

Work is underway to plan and build a new, larger facility, GCAO staff said, but help in the interim from the community is appreciated.

The shelter has a variety of dogs and cats that need permanent homes, including a litter of puppies that are just under four months old.
