How the Gaines Family Is Making the Most of Their Stay at Home

Let's face it, life looks different right now. Like the rest of us, Chip and Joanna Gaines have suddenly found themselves at home, even though they are busy preparing to launch a TV network.

"With life looking quite a bit different than we’re all used to, our Magnolia family is looking for ways to focus on how we can make the most of our time spent at home, because honestly there's no better place to be right now," Jo wrote this week in an Instagram post. "And in the midst of all that's going on, we believe that there is room for connection, creativity, laughter, and inspiration."

With those words, Jo launched a daily challenge with the Magnolia team. She kicked things off by making the chocolate chip cookie recipe from her first cookbook, and her son Drake handled production duties.

Over the weekend, Jo also shared footage of how both Chip and their youngest son Crew were passing their time. Ever the builder, Chip could be seen assembling a massive puzzle over a dining table as he jammed out to "Have You Ever Seen The Rain" by Creedence Clearwater Revival. If you have a keen eye, you'll spot the shiplap in the background.

Crew, on the other hand, was passing time by working on his pool shot. The little guy cleverly maneuvered a 4-ball across a miniature pink billiard table. The toy was so chic that it almost stole all of the attention from the adorable toddler in the comments. Almost.
