When someone is hungry, it’s best to not stand in their way. That’s the lesson learned from a new video of Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade’s daughter Kaavia crying as her dad eats food right in front of her. Union has been serving some downright adorable moments of 9-month-old daughter Kaavia on social media, but now, the little girl is — literally — taking food out of her dad’s mouth. In the new video, Kaavia is seen sitting in Wade’s lap as he eats a meal. Every time he brings the fork to his lips, Kaavia starts to cry, causing Wade to look at the camera with a “seriously?” look. “(like) if you don’t play when it comes to food 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣👼🏾😐 #snackbreak #agt,” Union captioned the Instagram video.
After jokingly telling her, “Ma’am, this is my food”, Wade offers Kaavia a bite. The baby, while looking at the camera and knowing she’s doing something sneaky, slowly takes the food off the fork. Union and Wade can be heard chuckling in the background.

When she’s not matching her mommy, the baby Kaavia is walking the red carpet with her parents — including her very first at the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards. The couple is often candid about about their relationship, along with their kids. Union revealed that Wade snores “like a dying rhino” a few weeks back, and the detail is pretty much relatable to practically everyone. Union is set to join this season of NBC’s America’s Got Talent as a judge, so expect several more blendings of family and business on Instagram. If that means more Kaavia in our lives, it’s worth it.
