Gabrielle Union Shares Sentimental Look At Visit to Ghana With Dwyane Wade and Daughter Kaavia

She documented part of the family's trip in a sweet new video shared on Instagram.

Gabrielle Union reflected on her recent visit to Ghana with her husband, Dwyane Wade, and daughter Kaavia, as part of their international adventures in celebration of the actress' 50th birthday

The Bring It On alum gave her Instagram followers a glimpse into the trip—which she dubbed the Wade World Tour—with a sweet video that shows the family of three being honored at a ceremony upon their arrival in Accra, Ghana. 

In the clip, Union, Wade, and their 3-year-old tot are adorned with Kente clothing, and they were even given Ghanaian names, according to Ghana Web

"Ghana owes us nothing, but gave us EVERYTHING!" the Breaking In star wrote in the caption of her post on Tuesday, Nov. 1, noting that her little one "felt right at home" in the West African country. 

"WadeWorldTour2022 🇬🇭," she added, along with the hashtags, "#Ghana," "#ThisIs50," and "#scorpioseason." The post was also set to the Kool & The Gang track "Celebration."

"You are officially GHANAFUO!!! 🇬🇭❤️" Netflix executive Bozoma "Boz" Saint John commented on the post, while other celebrity pals also chimed in with celebratory comments. 

"Love this!!" Chelsea Handler wrote while Michael Strahan added, "Happy 50th Gab!!❤️." 

Before their stop in Ghana, the family visited Zanzibar, Tanzania, where they partied for Union's birthday over the weekend. 

"I'm still processing the level of effort and planning that went into pulling off such an unbelievable 50th birthday party in Zanzibar Tanzania and keep the details a surprise from my nosy self," Union wrote alongside a montage video from her birthday night. "I'm beyond grateful for all of my loved ones who flew around the world to celebrate with me."
