Gabrielle Union Shares Pics of Daughter Kaavia's Elaborate Princess-Themed Birthday Party

Gabrielle Union, 51, and husband Dwyane Wade, 41, threw quite the bday celebration earlier this week for their daughter, Kaavia James Union Wade, who just turned five years old.

And Union even shared an Instagram slideshow compiled of photos and videos taken during her daughter’s princess-themed birthday party.

One clip shows Wade holding Kaavia in his arms while Union and the rest of the attendees sing “Happy Birthday.” Then, Kaavia takes a microphone and “thanks everyone” for coming to her party.

Kaavia clearly knew how to dress for the occasion, donning not one but three different dresses. One photo shows the 5-year-old donning a bright yellow princess dress with a matching bow on top of her head, and draped across her body is a banner that reads “Kaavia” in green letters.

Meanwhile, another snap shows her looking like a mini Tiana from The Princess and the Frog with a turquoise dress and a gold-colored crown. And then, there is a group photo featuring Union, Kaavia and the rest of the party guests where the bday girl is wearing a dress with a sky blue top and a white ruffled tutu on the bottom.

Of course, Union and Wade dressed up for the special event as well. In a separate photo, the pair looks like a royal couple, with Wade sporting a purple shawl and a crown and Union rocking a sheer copper gown and a tiara.

In the caption, Gabrielle wrote a heartfelt note to her baby girl. The Bring It On alum said, “November 7, 2018, our dream became a reality and our princess @kaaviajames was born. I cannot believe she’s already 5?!?! She is pure light and love and brings so much joy to everyone she encounters. She loves to sing, dance, play Barbie’s and reaaaalllllly loves hanging with her best friends!!”

She continued, “Sometimes she’s like a roast comedian and sometimes we find her praying quietly (Kaav LOVES the Lord [prayer hands emoji]) She is truly 1 of 1 and the best thing that’s ever happened to me. HAPPY BIRTHDAY Kaavia James Union Wade-Shady Baby-Auntie Baby.”
