Gabrielle Union shared a stunning no-makeup selfie, and OMG, those freckles!

Gabrielle Union has been a social media superstar, and we absolutely love to see it. From sharing her hairstyles that were deemed “too black” for America’s Got Talent, to flooding our Instagram feeds with not one but five photos of her adorable family in matching Christmas PJs, Union often uses the platform to spread positivity and keep things real. In a recent post, she kept that going with a glowing, no-makeup selfie. Naturally, she looks stunning, but there’s something else about the photo that we can’t seem to get over: those freckles.

Union captioned the photo, “Before caffeine. Just me 🖤”

But where’s that general look of dread we all have on our faces before we have our coffee? Don’t get us wrong, we’re happy to see her thriving, we just…don’t understand how she does it. Maybe it’s the gallon of water she drinks every day. Or maybe, vacationing in Hawaii with her family is what’s giving her that extra glow.

Looking that radiant pre-caffeine seems impossible, but Union followed up the no-makeup selfie with a very relatable post. She shared a compilation video of her family vacation in which she learns to use the camera on her phone, touches her hair “incessantly,” and does “awkward movements” that she “swore were sexy.” Thank you for this representation, Gabrielle.
