Gabrielle Union Reveals the Personal Secret Behind Her New Hair Product Line

Gabrielle Union has finally given us a sneak peek into her new hair product line. Yay!

The Being Mary Jane star partnered with the company Flawless to develop the line, which debuted March 1 on the company’s website. The collection offers a little bit of everything for every hair need, including several shampoos and conditioners, a hair mask, a blow-dry cream, a hair protection spray, a shine spray, an oil treatment, and edge control gel.

She was absolutely giddy when her box came on set to Being Mary Jane, where she took to Instagram to show us how the box looked and what came inside, classical “unboxing” style.

To some, the thought of Gabrielle Union plunging into natural hair care may seem a bit off, considering she normally keeps her hair looks low-maintenance with a weave or braids. However, she assured us that underneath those protective styles, she was still making a conscious effort to upkeep her natural hair and maintain its optimal health. Her personal journey in accepting and caring for her natural hair is exactly why she started Flawless.

When you take care of your own natural hair when you wear wigs, weaves and extensions… Around 25 years old, I stopped using relaxers and slowly grew my natural hair out. It's been a helluva hair journey. We are all on a hair journey. I created #Flawless for all of us on this journey of having healthy, nourished and nurtured hair.
