Gabrielle Union Just Shared A Bunch Of New No-Makeup Photos By The Pool
LA’s Finest premieres tonight (squee!) and apparently Gabrielle Union is spending the lead-up to her new show’s debut by hanging out at home, as one does. Gabrielle just shared a ton of new, no-makeup pics in her Instagram Stories, and she looks stunning.
Gabrielle is wearing a strappy one-piece bathing suit in the pics, and her hair is pushed back, giving you a close-up of her makeup-free face. And, of course, she looks gorgeous.
Gabrielle has been completely owning the no-makeup game lately and, for the record, she’s 47. While she clearly has good genes, Gabrielle has said she takes pretty good care of her skin, too.
"My best anti-aging tip is the ability to say no, no and hell, no. We run ourselves ragged saying yes to every freaking thing, whether it's to our family spouses, or careers," she told Women’s Health in 2017. "I sleep eight hours a day and don't let myself stress out. A lot of people call it selfish, but I don't have any wrinkles."
Gabrielle previously told Elle that she's also big on face oil. "It's a blessing and a curse to have oily skin, but I'm starting to believe it's like embalming fluid that's sort of keeping me youthful looking,” she said.
Gabrielle is also big into salicylic acid. "My skin routine is geared towards what’s happening with my hormones," she told Byrdie. "For example, acne isn’t just for teens. I like using a facial cleanser with salicylic acid in it to help combat breakouts before they start." Oh, and she says she always cleans her makeup off with a face wipe after a shoot to keep her pores clean.

But Gabrielle also said she just prefers to be makeup-free. "I feel most like myself without makeup," she previously told People. "It's how my friends and my husband and my loved ones appreciate me most. I think makeup can be a mask... So I've made peace with this [as] my face and I'm okay with it. I'm at an age where I have zero F's to give."
Giving zero F’s never looked so good!
