Gabrielle Union Just Celebrated Her 51st Birthday Looking Stronger Than Ever

Scorpio season is in full swing, with none other than Gabrielle Union leading the pack with a sultry—and strong!—birthday photoshoot. The Bring It On actress, 51, rocks a black see-through dress that shows off her sculpted abs, arms, and legs. The gown features a black fishnet-esque material that covers her arms and legs, while the low back showcases Gabrielle’s back muscles, too.

And the Truth Be Told alum didn't just show off her strong bod for her bday, she showed off her dance moves at the club, too.

“This might sting a bit 🦂This is 51 🌟🇬🇧🇬🇧🇬🇧 #BirthdayBehavior,” the The Perfect Find star captioned her Instagram post.

Obviously, Gab’s followers loved the pics and videos of her celebration and were sure to let her know in the comments. “GORGEOUS AND EPIC,” commented actress Robin Thede, who joined the birthday festivities in England. “51 has never looked this good 😍,” added digital creator Lisa Missouri. “51 where??? 🔥😍😍😍. Gosh ❤️❤️,” still another fan said.

If you’re wondering how Gabrielle continues to slay and stay so fit, the L.A.'s Finest actress has shared quite a few tips with Women's Health over the years. For starters, she’s a Pilates fan. In a previous interview with WH, Gabrielle said the low-impact exercise helps her start her day off right. “The great thing about Pilates is that I can take out my annoyance from waking up early on the machines instead of human beings,” she said. “It's for the greater good. My body responds to it, and I'm also more clear.” A win for everyone!

She also has a *great* cardio tip. She dedicates only six minutes of her workout to a cardio section, doing three sets of two-minute intervals rather than staring at the treadmill for an hour. She also adds small bursts of cardio into her day, she told WH in 2020. “Cardio could be jumping jacks, running up my driveway, side shuffles like I used to do in basketball, an elliptical, treadmill, or sled pushes.”

Gabrielle also shares a lot of her workout sessions on Instagram. Here, she mixes things up with some treadmill walking, free weight arm exercises, resistance cable work, as well as sit-ups on a medicine ball while also holding on to the cables. Full body workout, fully unlocked!

On the nutrition front, Gabrielle is all about enjoying what she eats. “My dream food is all food: Mexican, Indian, Italian, soul food. I just really like food, especially cheese, bread, and bacon, bacon, bacon,” she told WH. “Half of the appeal is the smell—I want to fill my home with it. If there were a bacon-scented candle, that would be my dream.” When she’s looking for some lighter fare, Gab reaches for couscous, lentils, brown rice, beans, and veggies.
