Gabrielle Union Has the Best Response to Troll Who Tells Her to "Dress Her Age"

Gabrielle Union is not only coveted for her acting accolades, but also her approachable style. That may be why fashion brand New York & Company tapped the award-winning actress to design her own collection for their stores. But, apparently not everyone is a fan of her designs.

On Friday, Union took to Instagram to post a photo of herself modeling a new dress from her line. The dress — a simple black maxi with a fitted bodice and ruched skirt — was teamed with a pair of colorful comfy sneakers from Li-Ning.

"All my unfinished work/projects from 2018 looking at me as I prepare my vision board for 2019 like And a glimpse of my upcoming @nyandcompany eat/pray/love/travel/chill collection available next week!!" the new mom wrote next to the snap.

Cute, right? Well, one critic didn't think so. "Can you dress your age please?" the commenter asked.

Union, 46, clapped back at the troll, firing: “Oh I’d looooove to hear what you think is age-appropriate,” the Bring It On star said. “Please gimme alllll the age-appropriate fashion advice I didn’t know I needed in my life.”

The actress's fans immediately came to her defense and praised her fashion sensibility. “I absolutely your NY&Co. collection and I’m 50!” one woman wrote. “Ignore ignorance and keep them coming.”

Another emphasized how Union is an inspiration for aging gracefully. "It’s women like you that show me you can still be young and beautiful at our age!!” the woman said. “I’ll be 46 this year and it is on!!! You are truly a blessing!!! Keep it up lady!!”

Clearly, this troll should stop playing fashion police and find another hobby.
