For all of the Internet trolls who think they are getting to Gabrielle Union and Dwyane Wade about the recent news of Wade’s child choosing to identify as “Zaya,” you’re not.

Union posted a bikini picture to her Instagram that certainly sends a message to any haters. On Thursday, the Breaking In actress paid a visit to a tropical place and snapped a photo in the water.

Union looks stunning in a tan bikini, and let’s be real, this shot perfectly highlights how incredibly toned the actress’s glutes are. But what sticks out the most about this glorious photo is Union’s beaming smile, which is there for a purpose.

“Just wading thru some of these ‘hot takes’ like 😃 🍑 My smile stays put and the fight for liberation for us all continues. Keep smiling and keep fighting 🤗 Good day good people #StopAssumingFactsNotInEvidence,” Union captioned the photo. She also placed the location as “Good Fight Training Camp,” which is an LA-based boxing program. Translation: She’s ready to fight and will not back down.

In case you haven’t heard, Wade’s 12-year-old child, formerly “Zion,” recently opened up to them about her gender identity. “Zion, born as a boy, came home and said, ‘Hey, so I want to talk to you guys. I think going forward I am ready to live my truth. I want to be referenced as ‘she’ and ‘her.’ I would love for you guys to call me Zaya,’” Wade said in an interview with Ellen DeGeneres.

Of course, the couple was met with backlash, from fans and celebrities alike. In response to Wade’s announcement about Zaya, Rapper Young Thug wrote in a since-deleted tweet, “All I wanna say to dwade son is ‘GOD DONT MAKE MISTAKES’ but hey live your true self,” per E!.

The couple was also called out on Instagram when Zaya wore painted nails in a family photo from December, but Wade and Union are clear that there’s nothing but love in their household. “I’ve watched my son, from day one, become into who she now eventually has come into,” Wade said. “Nothing changes with my love, nothing changes with my responsibilities."

Union also shared a heartfelt message for Zaya on Twitter: “Meet Zaya. She’s compassionate, loving, whip smart and we are so proud of her. It’s ok to listen to, love, and respect your children exactly as they are. Love and light good people.”

Similar to the message in her recent bikini post, Union also shared a video with some words to those who are trolling her family.

“Listen, I’m built for this. I see it all and I keep high steppin for ALL of us. My dreams, my fight, my spirit, my work is for us all,” she wrote in the caption. “You can fight me, you can trash me, you can stand in my way... I will keep moving forward and still cover you in love and light."
