A Gabriel Medina Freesurf Clip? Yes, Please

If you're a fan of Gabriel Medina's surfing (who isn't?), the best way to watch him surf is by tuning into the WSL comps 11 times every year.

Outside of the comps, Medina doesn't showcase much of his surfing. Maybe that's because he doesn't want to tip his hand to the judges, or maybe he just doesn't want to risk an unnecessary injury. Either way, a Medina freesurf clip is a rare treat.

The edit above, from the "Maresias Crew", finds Medina at home riding an epoxy Mayhem, looking light, loose and absolutely shredding a fun left rip bowl. While it's a far cry from Teahupo'o, where he'll be competing for his Top 5 life later this month, it's always fun watching Medina on a relatable wave.

Even if we can't relate to his surfing.
