G-Eazy Breaks His Silence on the Demi Lovato Dating Rumors
The newly-single G-Eazy took some time last night to personally kill the Demi Lovaro dating rumors that sprang up when Lovato was photographed leaving a Los Angeles club on Saturday holding hands with a man who some believed was him. (His face was turned away from the camera, making it hard to tell.) G-Eazy and Halsey recently split; in a tweet following her announcement that the two were taking a break, Halsey suggested that G-Eazy may have cheated on her.
While G-Eazy did not talk about his breakup, he did tell Entertainment Tonight at the EPSYs that Lovato is "just a friend." He also admitted he understood that fan interest in his love life comes with fame. "It's just one of those things that comes with the territory," he said. "You trade in your anonymity in exchange for some of your success in the public eye. You have to remember the blessings and remember how grateful you are to be here in the first place and understand some of that is just what comes with the territory."
Also notable is the platinum breakup makeover G-Eazy debuted on the red carpet. Anwar Hadid recently did the same transformation following his split from Nicola Peltz.
