We all saw this coming, but now it’s really happening: Fyre Festival 2 is currently being promoted and has tickets for sale.

Despite defrauding investors of $27.4 million and outright lying to 5,000 ticket holders who planned to attend the first edition of Fyre Festival in 2017, Billy MacFarland is back in these streets to throw the second edition of Fyre Festival in 2023. Tickets are going for sale starting at $499.

In 2019, Netflix released a documentary film titled Fyre: The Greatest Party That Never Happened about the behind-the-scenes production of Fyre Festival. The documentary carefully laid out the unlawful actions taken by MacFarland in his pursuit of lying to investors and ticket holders. One of the people who spoke out against MacFarland in the film was Andy King, a gay man who worked as an event producer for Fyre Festival.

In the documentary, King revealed that the airport customs department was charging $175,000 to release bottles of water purchased for Fyre Festival attendees. According to King, MacFarland called him “our wonderful gay leader” and asked him to “suck d*ck to fix this water problem.” King then delivered his instantly iconic line, “I got into my car to drive across the island to take one for the team and I got to his office fully prepared to suck his d*ck.”

In 2023, King took to social media to celebrate the fourth-year anniversary of his relationship with boyfriend Craig McBlain. Since then, this internet hero has been capitalizing on his “fully prepared” catchphrase while promoting other events. He’s also been traveling the world and spending quality time with his boyfriend and their dog.

In the last few years, King has started working as a “sustainable events expert,” created a podcast called Fully Prepared With Andy King, and is even available for personalized videos on Cameo (@andyking) for a fee of $25. He also has merchandise for sale with catchphrases like “ultimate team player” and “I’d do anything.”
