When it comes to feeding a big group, it's best to buy in bulk. And one of our favorite wholesale stores when it comes to loading up on all the essentials (and some non-essentials) is Costco. That makes the members-only shop the best place to buy everything you need from your Thanksgiving grocery list. Hopefully you've planned ahead and double-checked your Thanksgiving recipes to make sure you have everything you need, but if you're unexpectedly missing something important or forgot the pumpkin cheesecake or four-pound pecan pie (no!), then you may be wondering if the store is open on Thanksgiving Day.
Is Costco Open on Thanksgiving Day 2022?
Costco is joining stores like Walmart and Target that close their doors on Thanksgiving Day. Costco is closed only seven days a year, and Thanksgiving is one of them. The others are New Year’s Day, Easter Sunday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, and Christmas Day.
Most locations are opening at 9 a.m. rather than 10 a.m. to kick off Black Friday early. They're having deals on everything from TVs to jewelry to furniture to computers, so make your plan to get to the store early before things sell out.
