Future got his 5-year-old son a Rolex and Twitter can't handle it
Rap star Future is getting roasted on Twitter for giving his son, Baby Future, a Rolex for his 5th birthday. Many are calling the gift age inappropriate, though to be fair it was only one part of Baby Future’s celebration: Future also hosted a superhero themed birthday party for his son.
The post that got people’s attention was on Future’s Instagram story and shows Baby Future opening the box and giving, what people on Twitter are interpreting as an unenthusiastic, “thanks” for the ultra-expensive gift.
The moment quickly went viral with people on Twitter claiming that the 5-year-old likely only wanted toys, and that the gift was more about Future showing off his wealth than making his kid happy.
Why would you get a 5 year old a Rolex other than to flex? Fathers like this kill me https://t.co/M49KwyVw90

Others on Twitter came to Future’s defense, saying Future can do whatever he wants with his money and for his family.
Future had a whole superhero themed birthday party full of toys for baby future and y’all only focusing on the Rolex he got. Damn y’all weird as hell

I’m not even really a fan of Future and I’m baffled at the anger over him giving his kid a Rolex.

While we may never know if Baby Future liked the gift or not, there’s no doubt this 5-year-old had a great birthday. In addition to the party thrown by his dad Future, his mom Ciara and stepfather Russell Wilson also threw him a party as well.

All that said, Future posted an Instagram of his son rocking his new watch and he looked pretty fly.
