Futurama returns after a 10-year hiatus, and Fortnite’s giving the animated comedy a warm welcome. To mark the start of Futurama: Season 11, which launched July 24 on Hulu, Epic’s battle royale game is throwing another IP-mashing crossover event.

Out now, and detailed in our article on Fortnite patch notes for v25.20Futurama X Fortnite gives players access to characters, items, and gliders from the Futurama universe. Three new skins representing Fry, Bender and Leela are now purchasable in the item shop. They come with alternate styles and extra accessories like Hypnotoad and Nibbler.

There's also a Planet Express-themed glider so you can hit the ground in style, and Bender's shiny metal ray gun, which you can find as rare ground loot in matches, or buy from NPC Bender as long as you have the bars.

It’s far from the first Fortnite crossover. To promote the release of Marvel’s Avengers: Infinity War in 2018, Epic added Thanos and his infinity gauntlet to the game. Since then, all manner of pop culture properties have stepped foot in the Fortnite universe, including John Wick, Dragon Ball Z’s Goku, Alien’s Ellen Ripley plus Xenomorph, Lara Croft, Master Chief, and most recently, Ciri and Yennefer from The Witcher.

Unless one of the world’s biggest games suddenly loses its entire player base, Futurama X Fortnite won’t be the last crossover. Fortnite x Call of Duty, Overwatch, and World of Warcraft are happening later this year.
