Funny Penguin at Aquarium of the Pacific Has the Best Reaction to Halloween Decoration
It's Halloween time, and many people, zoos, and aquariums decorate and celebrate the spooky holiday by decorating. @Aquarium of the Pacific did just that, but not every animal was happy about it!
In this video that they shared in mid-October, we see a penguin who notices that one rock is not like all of the others. The 'rock' is actually a skull decoration that somehow made its way into the enclosure. The penguin knew it was different from the others and was definitely curious about it!

Penguins are big fans of rocks and they like to collect them. And just like a guy might give a girl flowers to woo her, penguins give each other rocks, so they're pretty good at finding the perfect ones to present as a gift. That may be why this penguin is so curious about the Halloween decoration. I wonder what he ended up doing with it!
@Aquarium of the Pacific commenters got a kick out of the video like I did. @LoganNRocco wondered, "Can you get them to use the « weird rocks » as currency tho?!" @Sea_King422 asked, "What did the dude do to the penguin for that to happen?!?" and @transmanari added, "They’ve turned against the zookeepers!"
If this penguin accepted the weird rock, I wonder what's going to happen when they try to take the Halloween decoration out of the enclosure. Will the penguin let them take it? Or is he now claiming the unique rock as one that is his? Some lucky lady penguin just might get it as a gift someday!
